What we tested

A month of pocket carry on a Sapphire Blue iPhone 17, plus our standard MagSafe attachment cycles, plus a deliberate UV exposure test (sitting on a sunny windowsill for two weeks) to predict yellowing. We also did three controlled drops from waist height to set expectations on protection.

Real-world performance

The case absorbed the three drops without phone damage but the case itself shows scuffing on the corners — exactly the trade-off you accept for slim. Living with it
